CINNAMON SUGAR BREAD
Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter 9x5x3'' loaf pan with 1 tbsp butter and set aside.
- In a small bowl combine 1/3 cup sugar and 3 teaspoons cinnamon, stir together and set aside.
- In a medium mixing bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt, remaining 1 teaspoon cinnamon and remaining 1 cup sugar. Sift together to combine.
- In a small mixing bowl whisk together egg, milk, oil and vanilla extract. Stir by hand into flour mixture until combined.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle with half of the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
- Add the remaining batter, using a butter knife swirl batter. Then top with the remaining cinnamon and sugar mixture.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool loaf pan on cooling rack for 10 minutes. Remove loaf from pan onto a large plate. The loose cinnamon and sugar will come off onto the plate. Carefully press all the sides of the bread onto the cinnamon and sugar that comes off onto the plate. Slice and serve.

INDIAN FRY BREAD
This crisp and bubbly bread is wonderful for Indian tacos or served as a dessert with powdered sugar or sugar and cinnamon. We put refried beans, Mexican-seasoned ground beef, grated cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, black olives, salsa, and sour cream on top to make a great main dish for dinner.

- Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Stir in cold water and vegetable oil until dough comes together into a ball.
- Set dough on a floured surface. Pinch off ten pieces the size of golf balls, roll into balls, and flatten each into a round. Make a small hole in the center of each round.
- Fill a deep skillet with oil to 3/4 inch; heat over medium-high heat. Add dough rounds in batches and fry until golden brown, about 20 seconds per side. Drain on paper towels.

Recently we went to arizona and had this yummy treat so had to find the recipe as soon as we got home.. You can make them bigger which I will do next time, the circles go really quick.. :)

- Mix the flour, baking powder and salt together.
- Add the water and knead the dough until soft.
- Roll the dough until 1/4 inch thick, then cut out rounds 4 inches in diameter.
- Fry the bread in 2 to 3 inches of hot oil until puffed and browned on both sides.

- In bread machine pan, place the first nine ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select dough setting (check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 tablespoons water or flour if needed). When the cycle is completed, turn dough onto a lightly floured surface. Roll into a 14-in. circle; transfer to a lightly greased 14-in. pizza pan. Make indentations in top of dough with fingers. Spread with butter; sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. CINNAMON AND SUGAR QUICK BREAD RECIPE
Our cinnamon sugar quick bread is a favorite delicious dessert recipe, yes even though it is a quick bread!

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray the inside (bottom and sides) of 2 loaf pans with non-stick cooking spray. I used 9"x5"x3" pans. Set pans aside.
- In a small mixing bowl, prepare the brown sugar cinnamon filling and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together sugar, butter, vanilla extract, and eggs with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 minutes.
- In a separate mixing bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Alternate adding the flour mixture and the sour cream to the creamed butter/sugar mixture while mixing on a low speed. Combine until just blended (be sure to not overmix).
- Pour 1 1/2 cups of the batter into the bottom of each pan (should be about 1/4 of the batter in each pan).
- Sprinkle 1/4 cup of the brown sugar filling in each pan on top of the batter.
- Top with another 1 1/2 cups of batter in each pan, then divide and sprinkle the remaining brown sugar filling on the batter in each pan.
- Bake for 55-65 minutes (start checking it around 55 minutes) until a toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf pan comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pans for 5-10 minutes and then remove from pans and let them completely cool on a wire rack.
