Peach Lemonade combines homemade peach simple syrup with water and lemon juice to make the best refreshing summertime drink! Only 30 minutes of hands-on time is needed to mix up a large pitcher!

Ingredients

2 cups frozen peaches
1 cup water
1 cup granulated sugar
3½ cups water
¾ cup lemon juice
¾ cup peach simple syrup

Steps:

Add the frozen peaches, water, and granulated sugar to a small saucepan and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 10 minutes then remove from heat and allow to cool to room temperature.
After cooling, pour the syrup through a fine mesh sieve to separate out the peaches.
Add the water, lemon juice, and ¾ cup of the simple syrup to a medium pitcher with ice and serve.

Ingredients

1 cup sugar
1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 6 lemons)
12 ounces peach brandy
6 lemon slices, for garnish
6 mint sprigs, for garnish

Steps:

Combine the sugar and 1 cup water in a heavy-bottomed pot. Heat over high heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is completely dissolved, 5 to 7 minutes. Remove from the heat and let cool completely.
Pour 1/3 to 1/2 cup of the cooled simple syrup into a 2-quart pitcher. (Reserve the remaining syrup for another use.) Add the lemon juice and 4 cups water and stir to combine.
To serve, fill an 8-ounce glass with ice. Add 2 ounces of the peach brandy, then fill with the peach lemonade to just short of an inch below the rim.
Garnish with a lemon slice and a mint sprig.

Steps:

To make the simple syrup, place the sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan set over medium heat. Bring to a simmer and cook until the sugar dissolves, 2 to 3 minutes, then cool.
Pour the simple syrup in the pitcher of a blender with the ice, lemon juice and basil, and puree until smooth. Serve cold.
