CLASSIC WHISKEY SOUR
The most famous of sour cocktails: the whiskey sour! It's perfectly balanced with bourbon, lemon and sweetener. Garnish with an orange peel and a cocktail cherry.

- Add the bourbon whiskey, lemon juice, and syrup to a cocktail shaker. Fill with a handful of ice and shake until very cold.
- Strain the drink into a lowball or Old Fashioned glass. Serve with ice, an orange peel and a cocktail cherry.

Steps:
- Put all the ingredients except the ice into a cocktail shaker or a large jam jar with a good seal. Shake well to combine.
- Add a handful of ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for at least 30 seconds or until the sides of the shaker feel cold. Strain into tumblers with more ice, or into coupe glasses, without ice. Serve with a grapefruit twist garnish.
