HONEY & HEARTH COCKTAIL {BOURBON, YELLOW CHARTREUSE, GINGER, LEMON}
A bourbon cocktail for gin lovers, this drink is well-balanced, bright, herbaceous, and kissed with smoke and spice.

Steps:
- Combine the bourbon, lemon juice, ginger liqueur, and chartreuse in a cocktail shaker.
- Fill with ice and shake or stir for a few seconds to chill the drink. Strain into a lowball glass filled with ice.
- Light the cinnamon stick on fire briefly and extinguish in the cocktail to garnish.

- To make the Honey Árbol Ginger Syrup: Put the honey and water in a blender and stir until the honey dissolves. Add the ginger and chile and blend on high speed until the ginger is pulverized. Strain through a chinois or cheesecloth and discard the solids. Let the syrup cool to room temperature. Transfer to a small jar or bottle and refrigerate for up to 1 month.
- To make the cocktail: Combine the cocktail ingredients in a shaker. Fill the shaker with ice cubes, cover, and shake hard for 7 seconds. Use a Hawthorne strainer to strain the cocktail into a coupe glass. Garnish with the chile de árbol slices.

- Combine bourbon, lemon juice, and honey in a cocktail shaker. Fill shaker with ice, cover, and shake very vigorously to help dissolve honey until outside of shaker is very cold, about 20 seconds.
- Strain cocktail through a Hawthorne strainer or a slotted spoon into an old-fashioned or rocks glass with 1 large ice cube or several smaller ones.
