HONEY PEANUT GRANOLA
This sweet, crunchy homemade granola combines quick oats with peanuts, wheat germ, honey, brown sugar, and vanilla. Baked in the oven, it's easy to make.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
- In a large bowl, combine oats, peanuts, and wheat germ.
- In a separate bowl, combine honey, brown sugar, vegetable oil, water, salt, and vanilla. Stir well; then pour into the oat mixture, and stir. Spread out on a cookie sheet.
- Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from oven, and cool before serving.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).
- In a large bowl, stir oats, nuts and sunflower kernels together. In a separate bowl, mix together oil, honey, vanilla and cinnamon. Add to dry ingredients; mix well. Spread mixture onto two ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake in preheated oven, for 10 minutes, remove from oven and stir. Return to oven and continue baking until golden, about 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool completely before storing.

Steps:
- Melt together margarine, peanut butter and honey.
- Add vanilla and salt.
- Add oatmeal and toss to coat completely.
- Spread on baking sheet.
- Bake at 375 about 10 minutes. Stir after 5 minutes.
- Store at room temperature in sealed container.
- Note.watch it closely while it bakes -- it burns easily, especially around the edges where it's spread thinner on the pan.
- Also note -- I omit the salt without noticing any change in flavour.

- Preheat oven to 300°F. On a rimmed baking sheet, stir together oats, peanuts, coconut, honey, oil, sugar, salt, and egg white until thoroughly combined. Spread in an even layer to edges of sheet. Bake, stirring every 15 minutes, until golden brown, 40 to 45 minutes.
- Stir in cherries, and bake 5 minutes more. Let cool completely before serving or storing.

- Preheat oven to 300°F (149°C) degrees. Line one large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- In a large heat-proof bowl, microwave the coconut oil and honey together for about 30 seconds. Alternatively, you may melt these ingredients together in a small pan on the stovetop. Remove from the microwave and using a fork or rubber spatula, stir until they are melted together and smooth. You may need to microwave it for 10 more seconds or so. Stir in the peanut butter and vanilla until smooth. Add the oats, peanuts, and cinnamon. Toss the mixture to coat everything. Make sure all of the oats are moistened.
- Spread onto the prepared baking sheet (it usually always fits onto just one– if too crowded, use two baking sheets and bake at the same time on different racks) and bake for 35 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes or so. Remove from the oven and allow the granola to cool for 10 minutes, then sprinkle the peanut butter chips and M&Ms on top. Stir everything together gently on the baking sheet. Allow to cool completely before enjoying.
