FROZEN CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIE DOUGH

This Frozen Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough recipe is perfect for a quick dessert option. Place as many cookies on the baking sheet as you want and dessert is served!

2 sticks Butter, softened
1/2 cup Sugar
1 cup Brown Sugar
2 tsp Vanilla
2 Eggs, slightly beaten
2 1/2 cups Flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Salt
1 - 1 1/2 cups Choclate Chips (I use Mini Semi-Sweet)

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar.
  • Next, add in the vanilla and eggs. Beat until combined.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  • Then slowly add the dry ingredients to the butter/sugar mixture and mix just until dough comes together.
  • Gently stir in desired amount of chocolate chips.
  • Using a cookie scoop (I used size #40) place dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Place baking sheet in freezer for at least 3 hours to overnight.
  • Take the frozen cookie dough and place into a freezer bag(s). Write the following instructions:Chocolate Chip Cookies__/__/__ (Date)*Pre-heat oven to 375°F*Place desired amount of cookies on parchment lined baking sheet*Bake 9-12 minutes (from frozen stage) or until edges of cookies are golden and the center is cooked.*Let cool 3-5 minutes on the baking sheet before removing to a cooling rack.Place prepared bag of dough in the freezer for a dessert at a later time.

1 cup white sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoons hot water
½ teaspoon salt
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Dissolve baking soda in hot water. Add to batter along with salt. Stir in flour, chocolate chips, and nuts. Drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased pans.
  • Bake for about 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until edges are nicely browned.

1 c butter, softened
1 c crisco
1 1/2 c sugar
1 1/2 c brown sugar, firmly packed
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
4 1/2 c all purpose flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
24 oz ghiardelli chocolate chips

Steps:

  • 1. Cream butter and crisco until creamy. Add sugars and beat well.
  • 2. Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each. Add vanilla and mix well.
  • 3. Add dry ingredients and mix. REFRIGERATE OVERNIGHT!
  • 4. Next day, form into balls. Freeze balls on cookie sheets, then bag them and freeze. Put frozen balls (as needed) on cooke sheet and bake in a pre-heated 375 degree oven for 14 minutes.
