ORANGE POMEGRANATE ICED TEA

Steps:
- In a large saucepan, combine water, orange slices, cinnamon, and cloves.
- Bring to a boil, add sweetener, and stir until dissolved.
- Remove from heat, add tea bags, and cover.
- Steep for 5 minutes, then strain mixture.
- Combine tea with orange juice and pomegranate juice.
- Cover and allow to chill (4 hours or overnight).
- Serve with orange and lime wedges over ice and enjoy!
- Pour into popsicle molds and freeze (6-8 hours, or overnight).
- Once frozen, remove desired pops from mold and enjoy! (You may need to allow pops to sit outside of the freezer for a minute or two in order to easily remove from mold.) You can leave pops in molds in freezer for a few days.
- For longer storage, remove from molds and place in individual freezer bags, or in an airtight plastic container with layers of wax paper or plastic wrap in between. Will last 3 to 4 weeks stored this way.
- Yields 6 cups of orange pomegranate iced tea, or ~12 iced tea popsicles.

- In a mixing bowl, crush or muddle the lemon and lime juices with the brown sugar, blending the juices and sugar together. Next, thin slice a few mint leaves and add to the juices. Then add the sweet tea, pomegranate juice and cranberry juice and mix well. After mixing, serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint.

- Special equipment: a 60-ounce (7 1/2 cups) pitcher
- For the syrup: In a small saucepan, bring the orange juice and sugar to a boil over medium-high heat. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and cool for 20 minutes.
- For the tea: In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Add the tea bags and remove the pan from the heat. Allow the tea to steep and cool to room temperature, about 20 minutes. Remove the tea bags and discard. Pour the tea and syrup into a pitcher and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- To serve: Pour the sparkling water into the pitcher and add the orange slices. Pour the tea into 4 ice-filled glasses. Garnish with fresh mint, or basil, and serve.
