Procedimiento:
2 tz harina de maíz amarilla
2 1/2 tz agua
2 cdas mantequilla
1 cda azúcar
1/4 cdta sal
8 oz queso de papa rallado

Steps:

  • En una olla agregar el agua, mantequilla, sal y azúcar y poner a hervir. Agregar la harina de maíz poco a poco batiendo constantemente, cocinar 5 minutos. Bajar temperatura y seguir cocinando hasta que el agua se evapore y la masa que se forma se despegue sola de la olla. Incorporar el queso de papa. Agregar mas agua de ser necesario. Colocar en un envase y dejar que se enfríe. Una vez fría hacer palitos con la mano de forma cilíndrica del tamaño de dos cucharadas. Freír en abundante aceite a temperatura alta hasta que se doren levemente por fuera y se tornen crujientes y listos. Si desea se pueden rellenar con más queso

  • Take a rounded tablespoon of dough and knead between your fingers until smooth. Roll into a log approximately 1/2-inch wide and 3-inches long. Repeat with remaining dough.
