This cheese dip is great on garlic toast rounds. It is soooo good that after my friend brought it to work I thought about it all weekend and knew I had to have the recipe!!!!

1 (5 ounce) jar Kraft Old English cheese spread
1 (5 ounce) jar kraft roka bleu cheese spread
2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese
1 tablespoon onion flakes
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon season salt

Steps:

  • Place first three ingredients in a pan and heat on low stirring until they are well combined.
  • Add seasonings and mix well.
  • Place in covered bowl and refrigerate until cold.
  • Serve on crackers or garlic toast rounds. Delicious!

I served this recipe at a holiday party. It was the first appetizer to disappear, and was one of the easiest to prepare. With all that pork bacon, cheese, and a bread bowl - where else to put this recipe but the Midwestern U.S. states.

2 cups shredded colby-monterey jack cheese
1 cup mayonnaise
1 garlic clove
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
1 cup finely chopped onion
1 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled into pieces

Steps:

  • Hollow out top of bread for the"bowl".
  • Save removed bread for other use.
  • Mix together the cheese and other ingredients.
  • Fill bread bowl.
  • Bake at 350 for 40 minutes, until hot and bubbly.
  • Serve hot.

1 cup sour cream
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon dill weed
1 tablespoon shallot, minced
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley leaves
1 tablespoon beau monde (seasoning salt), optional
2 round bread loaves (preferably a dill/onion bread)

Steps:

  • Mix all of the ingredients together in a medium bowl. Cut out the center of 1 bread round and mound dill dip into the interior cavity of the bread bowl. Cut up other bread round into 2-inch squares and dip bread into bowl.

1 large french bread
8 ounces cream cheese
1 1/2 cup sour cream
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
3 green onions, diced
1 cup diced cooked ham (leftovers work great)
1 (3 ounce) can of diced green chiles
2 jalapenos, diced and seeded. Keep the seeds if you like spice, remove them if you do not.
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 box Ritz Crackers

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350*F Slice off the top of the French bread and hollow out the center, leaving about 1/2 inch along the edges. Discard internal bread, eat it, or save for another recipe. You will not need it. In a bowl blend cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Add cheese, green onions, ham, green chiles, jalapenos and Worcestershire sauce. Mix well. Spoon this mixture into hollowed out bread bowl. Place top back on bread bowl and wrap in foil. Place bread bowl on a cookie sheet and bake for 1 hour. Remove from oven, open from foil (careful it will be hot!) and remove top. Place back in oven and broil for a minute or two. Watch this closely as you do not want it to burn, just crisp the bread up a bit. Remove from oven, place on a serving platter with crackers and dive in!

  • Cut the top fourth off the loaf of bread; carefully hollow out the bottom, leaving a 1-in. shell. Cut the removed bread and top of loaf into cubes; set aside., In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. 1 loaf sourdough bread
1 ½ lb ground beef
1 teaspoon garlic powder, divided
1 teaspoon onion powder, divided
1 teaspoon black pepper, divided
1 teaspoon salt, divided
1 tomato, sliced
1 onion, sliced and sauteed
8 oz mushroom, 1 package, sliced and sauteed
½ cup spinach, packed
8 pieces bacon, cooked
3 slices cheddar cheese, cut in half
3 slices swiss cheese, cut in half

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350˚F (180˚F).
  • In a circular cake pan, add half of the ground beef and season with half of the garlic powder, half of the onion powder, half of the pepper, and half of the salt. Mix to combine then press the beef into patty form.
  • Bake for 12 minutes.
  • Repeat this process for the second patty.
  • Slice off the top of the sourdough loaf and scoop out the inside.
  • Begin by laying down slices of cheese at the bottom, then add your first burger patty.
  • Layer more cheese on top of the patty and continue by adding bacon, sauteed mushrooms & onions, spinach, and tomato.
  • Add a second burger patty and repeat step 7.
  • Place the top of the loaf back on the bread and wrap in aluminum foil.
  • On a level surface, use a heavy object to press the sandwich down for at least 30 minutes.
  • Remove aluminum foil.
  • Bake for 25 minutes.
  • Slice and serve.
  • Enjoy!

⅓ cup butter, melted
3 teaspoons garlic, crushed, divided
180 g cream cheese
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ cup mozzarella cheese
½ cup milk
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon pepper
2 egg yolks, beaten

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  • Cut off the top of the bread. Use a bread knife to cut around the inside of the bread and scoop the center out.
  • Cut the center and top of the bread into bite-sized cubes.
  • Mix two teaspoons of crushed garlic into the melted butter. Brush the garlic butter on the bottom and the inside walls of the bread boat.
  • Dip all the bread cubes in the remaining garlic butter, set aside.
  • Combine the cream cheese, cheddar, mozzarella, milk, remaining teaspoon of crushed garlic, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl.
  • Pour the cheese mixture into the bread boat.
  • Brush the top of the cheese mixture with egg yolk.
  • Place the bread boat and the bread cubes on a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, remove the croutons, and continue baking the bread boat for another 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and a golden brown crust is formed.

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350ºF.
  • Cut slice from top of bread loaf; remove center of loaf, leaving 1-inch-thick shell. Cut removed bread into bite-size pieces; set aside for later use. Place bread shell on baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 min. or until lightly toasted. Cool slightly.
