APPLE PIE BISCUIT BAKE
Apple pie biscuit bake is an amazing recipe that combines delicious apples with biscuits. As if an apple pie recipe could get any better! Find out how to make this recipe for yourself below.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Best made with a 10 inch round pan or skillet. Will work with a 9-inch pan as well.
- Melt the butter and brush the sides of your pan with it, set aside the remaining butter.
- If using fresh apples : Set your stove to medium temperature. Take your peeled and diced apples and cook them on the stove along with the lemon and sugar for about 20 minutes. Mix in the vanilla, and then set aside. Allow the apples to cool and thicken while preparing the biscuits.
- In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Dip each biscuit into the mixture, front and back, and place into your pan. When finished, set aside the rest of your sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg mixture.
- If using pie filling, Pour the filling into a bowl, slice up the apples into small pieces and mix in the vanilla extract. Spoon the filling all over the top of your biscuits.
- If using the fresh apples, spoon the cooked mixture over the top of your biscuits.
- Sprinkle the remaining brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg mixture over the top and then drizzle with your remaining butter.
- Bake for 35 minutes, may take longer if you are using a 9-inch pan.
- Drizzle the glaze on top and serve while warm.
BAKED APPLES
Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
- Wash and core apples, leaving enough of the core at the base of the apple to contain the filling.
- Combine the butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and chopped pecans in a small bowl. Roll log shapes of the mixture and press enough into each apple to fill the core.
- Fill a 2-quart baking dish with about 3/4 cup water, or enough to cover the bottom. Place the apples upright in the dish. Bake until the apples are soft and the filling is browned, 1 hour.

- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Cut the stem out of the apple and hollow out the center until it is about 1 1/2 inches wide without going through the bottom. In a small cup, stir together the cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar. Set aside half of this mixture, and mix the rest with the cream cheese and dried cranberries.
- Sprinkle some of the reserved cinnamon sugar into the apple's cavity. Fill with the cream cheese mixture, and sprinkle the remaining cinnamon sugar on the top. Place the apple in a small baking dish.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until the apple is tender enough to easily pierce with a fork.

- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Melt the butter, and brush on all sides of your round baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon until blended.
- Dip each biscuit in the butter, and sprinkle all sides with the cinnamon sugar mixture and place in baking dish.
- Place the apple pie filling on top of the biscuits.
- Pour the remaining butter over all and sprinkle the remaining cinnamon-sugar on top.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180C).
- In a small bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.
- Core apples, and widen opening at top to accommodate biscuit.
- Rub insides and tops of apples generously with sugar-cinnamon mixture.
- Prepare biscuit dough per instructions on package, using baking mix and milk.
- Spoon biscuit mixture into cored apples, mounding slightly, and spreading to edges.
- Place on baking sheet and bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until apples are done and biscuits golden brown.
- Any leftover dough can be shaped into biscuits and baked together with filled apples, for the same amount of time.
- For variety: A sprinkle of any of the following may be added to biscuit dough: sprinkle of raisins, currants, dried cranberries or chopped almonds;.
BAKED STUFFED APPLES
Combining the best of two recipes gave us this delicious fall dessert. I served the stuffed apples in a waffle bowl. Serve warm with ice cream or half-and-half if desired, spooning the sauce from the baking dish over the ice cream.

- Mix cranberries, almonds, butter, brown sugar, honey, cinnamon, and nutmeg together in a bowl. Fill each apple cavity evenly with the mixture and place in a baking dish. Add water to the leftover filling and pour around apples.
