DOGS KRAUT AND TATERS

Steps:

• In a large frying pan over medium heat, place the kraut with juice, potatoes (drained and halved), and hotdogs. Pour beer over top.
• Sprikle with dill and caraway seeds if using them. Top off with some cracked black pepper.
• Cover and let it simmer for 7-10 minutes until hot.
• NOTE: If using an uncooked sausage/brat, you will need to let it simmer for 20 minutes.

DOGS AND TATERS

Steps:

• In large skillet, saute dogs in oil until browned.
• Add onion, garlic salt, and pepper; cook 1 minute.
• Add potatoes and cook on med, turning potatoes occasionally.
• Continue cooking until potatoes are tender and browned.
• Sprinkle with cheese.
• Cover and let the cheese melt into the potatoes.

HOT DOG AND TATER BAKE

Steps:

• Combine sliced hot dogs, bread crumbs, egg, onion, catsup, and salt.
• Pour into an 8-inch square baking dish.
• Top with frozen tater tots.
• Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

HASH BROWN TATERS WITH DOGS

Steps:

• 1. Combine potatoes, soup, sour cream, 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese, salt and pepper. Spread in a greased 2-1/2 to 4-quart size baking dish. (I used a 4-quart size oval baking dish).
• 2. Top with the partially sliced franks (slice size up).
• 3. Cover, and bake 30 minutes in a 400 degree oven. (I did not cover the casserole, and it turned out great! But I think that's because I used jumbo sized franks, so they didn't over bake).
• 4. Remove, uncover, and top with the other 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, and the French fried onions.
• 5. Place casserole back in the oven, (uncovered) and continue baking for 2-3 more minutes. (Just until the cheese has melted, and French Fried Onions are lightly browned).
• 6. *Note: You can substitute soups in this recipe. You could use either cream of celery or cream of chicken soup, in place of the cream of mushroom soup.

CHEESY TATER DOGS

Steps:

• preheat oven to 325.
• peel and quarter potatoes, boil untill potatoes are soft. drain, add butter,milk.
• use electric mixer to mix . add salt and pepper to taste.
• place wieniers on a cookie sheet and slice down the middle, but don't cut all the way thru,just enough so it will lay open.
• spoon in potatoes, sprinkle cheese on top.place in oven, bake until cheese is melted. serve.

REDNECK CASSEROLE

Steps:

• Set your oven to 450.
• Dump your can of baked beans (we use Bush's vegetarian) into a casserole dish. (We use a medium sized glass bowlish looking -- thing). Set the dish aside.
• Cut up your hotdogs into bite sized pieces and throw those into your casserole dish and mix until dogs are well coated with baked bean sauce.
• Cover the bean and dog mixture with tatertots. We usually use a couple handfuls. Use as many as you'd like. Just make sure to cover the mixture completely.
• Place the casserole dish in the oven for 1/2 an hour or until tater tots are golden brown. When Redneck Casserole is all cooked up, turn off the oven and sprinkle the top with cheese.
• Redneck Casserole is completely done when cheese is melted and you just can't take it anymore -- dig in! (You can mix pretty much anything with this dish. Sour cream, ketchup, mustard, hot sauce, etc.).

TATER DOGS

Steps:

• Cut hot dogs into thirds.
• mix first five ingredients together untill well combined.
• Form a 1/8 to 1/4 inch layer of dough around each hot dog.
• Deep fry on medium heat until golden brown, watch carefully as these burn easily.
