- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour an 8x8-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter with sugar and egg. Mix in flour, baking soda, and cinnamon, and then stir in apple and walnuts. Spread batter into prepared pan.
- Bake for approximately 40 minutes, or until a small knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

- Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray. Place cereal in plastic bag or between sheets of waxed paper; crush with rolling pin.
- In large bowl, mix brown sugar, oil, milk and egg. Stir in cereal, flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Stir in apples and raisins. Spread evenly in pan.
- Bake 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely, about 1 hour.
- In small bowl, stir together all glaze ingredients until smooth and thin enough to drizzle. Drizzle over bars. For bars, cut into 6 rows by 6 rows.

- Butter bottom and sides of 8-inch square pan, or spray with cooking spray. Place cereal in resealable food-storage plastic bag; seal bag and slightly crush with rolling pin or meat mallet (or slightly crush in food processor).
- In large bowl, mix cereal and sunflower nuts; set aside.
- In 3-quart saucepan, heat corn syrup, brown sugar, apples and cinnamon just to boiling over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; stir in peanut butter. Pour over cereal mixture; stir gently until evenly coated.
- Press mixture evenly into pan with back of wooden spoon. Refrigerate about 1 hour or until set. For bars, cut into 4 rows by 4 rows. Store covered at room temperature.

- Line bottom and sides of 8-inch square pan with foil; spray foil with cooking spray. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of the apples and 1/4 cup of the pecans over bottom of pan. Place cereal in resealable food-storage plastic bag; seal bag and coarsely crush with rolling pin or meat mallet. Set aside.
- In 4-quart Dutch oven, heat 1/2 cup of the apples, the honey, raisins and brown sugar to boiling over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to medium. Cook uncovered about 1 minute, stirring constantly, until hot and bubbly; remove from heat.
- Stir peanut butter into cooked mixture until melted. Stir in apple butter and cinnamon. Stir in oats and sunflower nuts until well mixed. Stir in crushed cereal.
- Press mixture very firmly (or bars will crumble) and evenly onto apples and pecans in pan. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup apples and 1/4 cup pecans; press lightly into bars. Refrigerate about 2 hours or until set. For bars, cut into 4 rows by 3 rows. Store covered in refrigerator.

Made this up to give my toddler a healthy and yummy snack--and to use up some of the millions of Cheerios we seem to always have in the pantry! Great to take to play groups, no eggs or honey so even young babies can share. Substitute any cereal you want!

- Mix all ingeredients in a medium bowl until well blended.
- **Optional-throw a Tbs or two of Soy Flour in to boost up the protine of a picky child's diet!
- Spray pan with cooking spay.
- To make bars press into a 9x9 pan.
- To make bite sized snacks, spread loosely onto a jelly roll pan.
- Bake at 350 20-30 minutes unyil crisp and golden--watch the snacks, they cook faster.
- Cut or crumble, cool and enjoy!
- Store in an air tight container, they never last more than a couple days at our house so I'm not sure how long they are shelf stable.
- Servings are approximate.

- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 7-inch square baking tin, or line with paper liners.
- Whisk brown sugar, applesauce, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract together in a large bowl.
- Combine flour, cinnamon, and baking powder in a separate bowl. Stir into egg mixture until moistened.
- Spoon 1/2 the batter into the prepared baking tin and spread evenly. Place apple slices on top and cover with remaining batter.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 15x10 inch jellyroll pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, quick cooking oats, brown sugar, and baking soda. Stir in the melted butter. Mix until crumbly. This is the crust. Press 1/2 of this mixture into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 8 minutes in preheated oven.
- In a small pan, over medium heat combine the caramel topping and the remaining 1/2 cup of flour. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil and cook for 3 to 5 minutes. This is the caramel filling.
- Spread apple slices evenly over the baked crust. Sprinkle on the nuts. Then Pour the caramel filling over the apple layer. Crumble the remaining crust mixture over the top of everything. Bake again for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool before cutting into bars.

- In a large bowl, combine the flour, oats, brown sugar and baking soda; cut in 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Set aside 2 cups for topping. - Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly butter a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- Mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter together in a bowl until crumbly, adding more crumbs if mixture is too wet. Press crust into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven until golden and set, 7 to 8 minutes. Remove from the oven and set aside.
- Beat cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar using an electric mixer in a large bowl until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Beat in vanilla extract on low speed until mixture is blended. Pour filling over warm crust.
