COOKIES 'N CREAM CAKE

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9 inch round cake pans.
• In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, water, oil, and 3 egg whites with an electric mixer on high speed for 2 minutes. Gently stir in crushed cookies. Pour batter into the prepared pans.
• Bake for 25 to 35 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a knife inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes in pans. Remove from pans, and completely cool on racks.

Stir in chopped cookies. Pour into a greased and flour 9-in. round baking pan. , Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack to cool completely., For topping, beat cream in a small bowl until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar, beating until stiff peaks form. Spread over top of cake; sprinkle with additional chopped cookies if desired.

• Gradually add flour and salt.
• Add eggs one at a time.
• Mix until well blended.
• Fold cookies in until well blended.
• Pour into greased and floured (be sure to generously grease and flour pan) 10x6-inch loaf pan.
• Bake at 325°F for 1 hour or until knife comes out clean.

• In separate bowl, beat egg whites until stiff but not dry.
• Fold egg whites into cake batter.
• Fold crushed Oreos into cake batter.
• Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
• Cool in pans for 10 minutes, remove, and cool completely on wire wracks.
• Frosting: Beat Crisco until smooth.
• Gradually add powdered sugar, alternating with milk.
• Add vanilla.
• Add any additional milk until desired consistency is met.
• Frost cake and sprinkle with crushed Oreos.
