Steps:
- Boil and peel the potatoes.
- Grate the potatoes and transfer to a large bowl.
- Add the grated cheese, salt, red chilli powder and corn flour.
- Mix well to a thick dough without adding water.
- Keep this in the fridge for 45 to 60 minutes.
- Then make small balls and flatten them like a vadai.
- Using a knife, cut out two eyes and a mouth.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium flame.
- Fry the smileys until golden brown and crisp.
- Remove and drain excess oil.
- Serve with tomato ketchup.

- To make Potato smiley, first of all, take 5 New fewer starch potatoes.
- Now boil app potato in a cooker and peel and let it cool completely.
- Now take a grater and grate all potatoes.
- Now take 2 Bread grind them into a grinding jar make a fine powder of it.
- Now into the potatoes mix add bread powder, 4 tbsp of corn starch.
- Now add 1/2 tsp of red chili powder, salt as per taste.
- Now grease your hand with oil and prepare a smooth dough.
- Now put it into the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- After 30 Munites take it out from the refrigerator.
- Now on a platform place butter paper and grease it with oil.
- Now divide all dough into 2 parts and spread 1 part on butter paper with your hand.
- Now take a smiley size cookie cutter and dust it with corn starch.
- Now cut small smiley pieces from the dough and remove excess dough.
- Now take a straw and make small eyes( Make 2 small holes) on all smiley like the following image.
- Now take a plastic spoon and dip a spoon into the oil and make a smiling face on all smiley like the following image.
- Now take all smileys and put them into the freezer for 2 Hours.
- After 2 Hour take them outside the freezer.
- Now take a ziplock packet and put all smileys into it and now can store it into the freezer for 25 to 30 days.
- Now to fry it take a pan and put it on the gas on medium flame and heat it.
- After oil becomes hot then slowly-slowly add smiley into oil and fry both sides until becomes golden.
- Now take them out into a plate.
- Now your potato smiley is completely ready and you can enjoy them.

- Boil potato, remove skin and grate it. Take a bowl, add 1 cup grated potato, white pepper powder, mixed herbs(thyme, oregano, basil), salt and mix nicely. Add corn flour and mix nicely, later add cheese and mix nicely. Divide the dough into small dumplings and make small flat round using the hand. Make two holes with straw and smile shape using spoon and arrange in a plate. Place it in the freezer for 15 to 20 minutes. Once it is freezed, deep fry in hot oil on high flame until it is crispy. Now potato smiley are ready to serve with tomato ketchup.

- To begin, combine 2 cups boiled and grated potato in a large mixing bowl.
- Further add 1/4 cup bread crumbs, 2 tbsp corn flour, 1/2 tsp chilli powder, and salt to taste
- Combine all of the ingredients thoroughly. If necessary, add more bread crumbs.
- Make a soft, nonsticky dough.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes to prevent the smiley from breaking down in the oil and keeping its shape.
- Now, take a large ball of prepared potato dough and flatten it slightly thickly on a piece of butter paper. Butter paper keeps the dough from sticking together.
- Using a cookie cutter or a glass, make a round shape.
- Make eyes with a straw and a smile with a spoon.
- In hot oil, deep fry the potato smiles. or brush with oil and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 25 minutes, or until golden and crisp.
- Fry until golden brown, stirring occasionally, on medium heat.
- Finally, drizzle tomato sauce or eggless mayonnaise over the potato smiles or potato smiley.
