This tasty salad is simplicity itself. But what takes it over the top, flavor-wise, is the homemade bacon vinaigrette-served warm for extra elegance.

8 cups torn fresh spinach leaves
1 medium tomato, coarsely chopped
4 slices OSCAR MAYER Thick Cut Bacon, cut into quarters
1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
1/4 cup HEINZ Distilled White Vinegar
1/4 cup water
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. pepper

Steps:

  • Toss spinach with tomatoes in large serving bowl; set aside.
  • Cook and stir bacon and onions in large skillet on medium heat until bacon is crisp; discard drippings in skillet. Return bacon mixture to skillet. Add vinegar, water, sugar and pepper; mix well. Cook 3 min. or until heated through, stirring frequently.
  • Add to spinach mixture; toss to coat. Serve immediately.

Steps:

  • In a large bowl, combine the Romaine, radishes, green onions, cucumber, tomatoes, celery and shrimp. Toss with favorite salad dressing and serve.

2 tablespoons butter
2 lemons, juiced
2 heads butter lettuce
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 avocado - peeled, pitted and diced

⅓ cup vinaigrette salad dressing

Steps:

  • In a large saute pan melt butter over medium heat. Add the shrimp and lemon juice, cook until shrimp just turn pink. Remove from heat and drain.

5 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided
2 ears of corn, husked
3 small tomatoes, cut into 1/2-inch-thick wedges
1/3 English hothouse cucumber, halved lengthwise, thinly sliced crosswise
4 teaspoons fresh lime juice
2 teaspoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil (such as Asian)
1 large avocado, halved, peeled, pitted, cut into thin slices
8 cups (loosely packed) mixed baby greens
2 tablespoons thinly sliced fresh mint leaves

Steps:

  • Mix chili-garlic sauce, cumin, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper in large bowl. Add shrimp and toss to coat. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in heavy large nonstick skillet over high heat until hot. Add half of shrimp and sauté until cooked through, about 3 minutes. Using tongs, transfer shrimp to plate. Add 1 tablespoon oil to same skillet. Add remaining shrimp and sauté until cooked through, about 3 minutes. Transfer shrimp to plate and cool.

1 teaspoon Montreal steak seasoning
4 bacon strips, chopped

½ teaspoon kosher salt

1 teaspoon lemon zest
4 cups mesclun greens
½ cup quinoa, cooked
½ cup cherry tomato, halved
½ cup avocado, diced
¼ cup chickpeas, roasted
2 tablespoons scallions, sliced, white part only
1 tablespoon shallot
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon honey
2 tablespoons dijon mustard
kosher salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
½ cup olive oil

Steps:

  • Add the shrimp to a mesh strainer set in a bowl of cool water and let sit for about 10 minutes to defrost.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the defrosted shrimp, olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and lemon zest. Toss until the shrimp are well coated.
  • Heat a medium pan over medium heat. Add the shrimp to the pan and cook for about 1 minute on each side, until pink, opaque, and firm. Remove from the pan and set aside to cool.

1 1/2 pounds large shrimp, shelled and deveined, tail section left on
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup canned low-sodium or Homemade Chicken Stock, skimmed of fat
1 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 large clove garlic, peeled and sliced thinly
1 1/2 teaspoons finely chopped rosemary
1 1/2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves
1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
4 ounces bacon, cut into 1 1/2-inch dice
Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • In a medium bowl, toss shrimp, garlic, rosemary, thyme, and oil. Set aside to marinate at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  • Place bacon in a large skillet, and place over medium-high heat. Cook bacon, stirring occasionally, until almost all the fat is rendered, 6 to 7 minutes. Pour off and discard all but about 2 tablespoons of the bacon fat. Add the shrimp, marinade ingredients, and salt and freshly ground pepper to taste; saute, turning frequently, until the shrimp are opaque and just cooked through, about 5 minutes.
  • Remove shrimp and bacon, and transfer to serving dish. Add lemon juice and stock to skillet; cook, stirring up cooked-on brown bits. Cook until liquid is reduced by half, about 2 minutes. Swirl in butter; cook, swirling skillet until butter has melted. Pour the sauce over shrimp, and serve with Lentils with Scallions and Peppers.
