SWEET AND SPICY BACON CHICKEN BITES

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with aluminum foil and spraying with cooking spray. Cut bacon in halves to thirds depending on how thick your chicken is. Wrap each piece of chicken in the bacon.
• In a small bowl add the chili powder, paprika, and garlic powder. In another small bowl add the brown sugar. Roll the bacon wrapped chicken first in the spices and then in the brown sugar. Place on prepared baking sheet.
• Sprinkle with salt and pepper and remaining brown sugar (if any) and bake for 35-40 minutes until the bacon is crisp.

SWEET AND SPICY BACON WRAPPED CHICKEN

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine chili powder, paprika, and garlic powder in a bowl. Roll each chicken piece into the spices and wrap in bacon. Place in a 10 inch skillet or a 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle the tops with brown sugar.
• Bake for 30-35 minutes or until chicken reads 165 degrees and is no longer pink. I like to broil the tops of my chicken for 1-2 minutes to crisp the bacon at the end.

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
• Cut each chicken breast into thirds, leaving you with 12 pieces.
• Lay chicken pieces in a 9x13 baking dish, coat with 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil. (can use non-stick cooking spray also) Sprinkle chicken with spices, flip over and sprinkle the other side.
• Wrap each piece of chicken with a slice of bacon. Roll in brown sugar.
• Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and bacon is nice and crispy.
• Drizzle with glaze it made and serve.

SWEET AND SPICY BACON CHICKEN

Steps:

• Cut each breast into 3 pieces, season all the chicken with the spices, then wrap a bacon slice around each piece, roll in brown sugar and place into an oven proof dish....make sure you have some olive oil in the dish too, like 2 or 3 tablespoons is fine {I skipped this since I grilled them. I honestly think you could coat your dish with nonstick cooking spray instead to save a few calories}.
• Bake at 400 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and bacon is nice and brown and crispy. Delicious served with mashed potatoes with some of the gravy from the chicken drizzled on top.

• 2. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and bacon is nice and brown and crispy. Do not turn them over half way through if baking in the oven, on the grill, yes. Delicious served with mashed potatoes with some of the gravy from the chicken drizzled on top.

Some comments from others that might be helpfull: ** I have made these before and found that the bacon created too much grease in the bottom of the pan so I placed a cooling rack in my foil lined pan. I placed the wrapped chicken on the cooling rack which allowed the grease to drip to the bottom of the pan. It made for easy clean up. This is definitely a family favorite in our house!
• 5. ** So good! I used chicken tenders, made it in the oven with garlic Parmesan rosemary potatoes. ** Made this finally and loved it! The only thing I'll be doing next time is adding cayenne because my husband and I love spicy stuff. ** This is the most delicious thing I have ever eaten! Steps:

• Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Slice chicken into bite-sized pieces.
• Cut bacon into 1 to 1-1/2 inch pieces.
• Wrap a piece of bacon around each chicken piece. Use toothpicks if necessary.
• Combine the brown sugar and cayenne in a small bowl.
• Roll each piece of chicken and bacon in the brown sugar/cayenne mixture.
• Place on a cookie sheet keeping the pieces from touching.
• Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
