1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
1/2 teaspoon dried mustard
1 1/2 cups milk
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Steps:

  • Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
  • Blend in flour, salt, pepper, cayenne and mustard.
  • Stir constantly for one minute until well mixed. Remove from heat and gradually stir in milk.
  • Return to heat and cook over medium high heat until thick and bubbly. Stir frequently.
  • Mix in cheese and stir until melted. Remove from heat, cover to keep warm until serving.

1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni
1 pound ground beef
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
¾ cup milk
⅔ cup ketchup
½ cup shredded Cheddar cheese
¼ cup chopped green bell pepper
1 cup dried minced onion
1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
1 cup crushed potato chips

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Bring a saucepan of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta, and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
  • Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, stirring until evenly browned; drain. Stir in cooked macaroni, condensed soup, milk, and ketchup until well blended. Mix in the Cheddar cheese, green pepper, and minced onion. Season with salt, and pour into a 2 quart baking dish.
  • Cover, and bake for 40 minutes in the preheated oven. Uncover, sprinkle the top with potato chips, and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes, until chips are toasted.

1/2 cup chopped green pepper
2 cans (15 ounces each) Hunt's® Tomato Sauce
1 can (28 ounces) Hunt's® Original Diced Tomatoes, undrained
1 can (12 ounces) tomato paste
1/2 pound sliced fresh mushrooms
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 to 3/4 cup dry red wine or beef broth
1/2 cup sliced pimiento-stuffed olives
1/4 cup dried parsley flakes
1 to 2 tablespoons dried oregano
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
Hot cooked spaghetti

Steps:

  • In a large skillet, cook the beef, onion and green pepper over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. Transfer to a 5-qt. slow cooker. Stir in the tomato sauce, tomatoes, tomato paste, mushrooms, cheese, wine, olives, parsley, oregano, Italian seasoning, garlic, salt and pepper. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Serve with spaghetti. Yield: about 3 quarts.

1 1/2 cups cooked rice
1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies
1/2 cup sour cream

1 pound pork sausage
1 (5.5 ounce) package seasoned croutons
1 ½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
1 cup shredded pepperjack cheese
8 eggs
1 pint half-and-half cream
1 ½ cups milk
1 ½ teaspoons dry mustard
1 tablespoon minced onion
salt and pepper to taste

Steps:

  • Place sausage in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium-high heat until evenly brown. Drain, crumble, and set aside.
  • In a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking dish, arrange the croutons in a single layer. Layer with Cheddar cheese, Swiss cheese, and pepperjack cheese. Top with the cooked sausage.
  • In a large bowl, beat together the eggs, half-and-half, milk, mustard, onion, salt, and pepper. Pour into the dish over the sausage. Cover, and refrigerate overnight.

1 can (16 ounces) refried beans
10 flour tortillas (8 inches), warmed
1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 cup sour cream
3 to 4 cups cubed cooked chicken
3 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 can (15 ounces) enchilada sauce
1/4 cup sliced green onions
1/4 cup sliced ripe olives
Shredded lettuce, optional

Steps:

  • Spread about 2 tablespoons of beans on each tortilla. Combine soup and sour cream; stir in chicken. Spoon 1/3 to 1/2 cup down the center of each tortilla; top each with 1 tablespoon cheese. , Roll up and place seam side down in a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Pour enchilada sauce over top; sprinkle with the onions, olives and remaining cheese. , Bake, uncovered, at 350° for about 35 minutes or until heated through. Just before serving, sprinkle lettuce around enchiladas if desired. Freeze option: Cover and freeze unbaked casserole. To use, partially thaw in refrigerator overnight. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking. Preheat oven to 350°. Bake casserole as directed, increasing time as necessary to heat through and for a thermometer inserted in center to read 165°.
