1 3/4 cups water
1 tablespoon sugar
1 package active dry yeast
5 cups flour
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon salt
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
4 tablespoons melted margarine
1 lb powdered sugar
1 -2 tablespoon milk
1 tablespoon melted butter
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps:

  • Dots: Pour the warm water into a mixing bowl and dissolve it in the sugar and yeast.
  • When the yeast begins to bubble, add in your first cup of flour, then the oil and salt.
  • Add another 3 cups of flour, mixing with a large spoon until the dough comes away from the sides of the bowl and holds together.
  • Sprinkle the last 1/2 cup of flour onto your kneading suface and turn out the dough and knead until it begins to stick together well.
  • Add only enough flour to keep the dough from sticking to your fingers and to the board.
  • Continue to knead until the relaxed dough feels smooth and springy.
  • You may need to add additional flour.
  • Form the dough into a ball, and place it in a greased bowl, be sure to turn the dough in the bowl so that the top is greased as well.
  • Cover it and put it in a warm area away from drafts.
  • Allow dough to double in size.
  • This should take at least 45 minutes, maybe more, maybe less depending on the temperature of your room.
  • Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
  • Prepare cinnamon sugar mix in a bowl, combine the cinnamon and sugar and mix well.
  • Shape dough into small balls approximately 1 inch in size.
  • Brush dough lightly with melted margarine, and dip into your cinnamon/sugar mix.
  • Place coated balls onto a lightly greased baking sheet.
  • Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until nice and golden brown.
  • Icing: Combine all ingredients and mix until smooth.

Domino's pizza was a strangely traditionalist chain for a long time. They sold only one kind of crust, called the regular pizza, and only in two sizes. The pizza dough was shaped by tossing and pulling, and they offered no side orders. The chain has diversified a lot since then, with pan pizzas and other types being added. However, original Domino's pizza crust is still the same. This Domino's pizza dough recipe aims to capture that unique chewiness that we all recognize and love. Use an electric mixer to speed things up, or just combine by hand for a good workout. Like many other pizza doughs, this one can be refrigerated and frozen for later use. Try it and experience the great taste of Domino's pizza dough in your kitchen.

5 cups all-purpose flour or 5 cups bread flour
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon instant yeast
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 3/4 cups warm water

Steps:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, stirring vigorously. Set aside to rest five minutes, and then stir again for three to five minutes.
  • Add additional water or flour to achieve a smooth, sticky dough.
  • Divide into four pieces and place each one into an oiled freezer bag.
  • At this point, dough can be refrigerated or frozen.
  • Allow to rise at room temperature and then punch down.
  • Stretch each piece onto a ten inch pizza pan and allow to rest a few minutes.
  • Top as usual, and then bake at 450°F until crust is crisp and cheese has melted.
  • (Makes 4 ten inch pizzas.).

2 tablespoons yellow cornmeal
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
1 cup Mexican blend cheese, shredded
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 teaspoon parsley
1 cup marinara sauce, for dipping

  • Preheat oven according to french bread package. 2 Take dough out and flaten and stretch out a little bit to make a rectangle on a large cookie sheet. 3 Melt butter in microwave and add garlic salt and garlic powder, brush over the top, flip and brush other side. 4 Sprinkle corn meal on top and then flip over. 5 Put all cheese on top over entire surface, sprinkle with 1/2 of parmesean, parsley, and remaining butter. 6 Bake according to french bread package until cheese is melted and bubbly and bread is a light golden brown. 7 Remove from oven and sprinkle with remaining parmesean cheese. Allow cheese to set for a minute or two. 8 Cut widthwise into 1 inch slices, serve hot with warm marinara sauce.
