Domino's pizza was a strangely traditionalist chain for a long time. They sold only one kind of crust, called the regular pizza, and only in two sizes. The pizza dough was shaped by tossing and pulling, and they offered no side orders. The chain has diversified a lot since then, with pan pizzas and other types being added. However, original Domino's pizza crust is still the same. This Domino's pizza dough recipe aims to capture that unique chewiness that we all recognize and love. Use an electric mixer to speed things up, or just combine by hand for a good workout. Like many other pizza doughs, this one can be refrigerated and frozen for later use. 5 cups all-purpose flour or 5 cups bread flour
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon instant yeast
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 3/4 cups warm water

Steps:

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, stirring vigorously. Set aside to rest five minutes, and then stir again for three to five minutes.
  • Add additional water or flour to achieve a smooth, sticky dough.
  • Divide into four pieces and place each one into an oiled freezer bag.
  • At this point, dough can be refrigerated or frozen.
  • Allow to rise at room temperature and then punch down.
  • Stretch each piece onto a ten inch pizza pan and allow to rest a few minutes.
  • Top as usual, and then bake at 450°F until crust is crisp and cheese has melted.
  • (Makes 4 ten inch pizzas.).

1 packet active dry yeast
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 cups warm water
3 tablespoon olive oil, divided
1 teaspoon salt
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2-3 chicken breasts
1 cup shredded provolone cheese
2 tablespoons taco seasoning
2 Roma tomatoes, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1/2 yellow onion, diced
6 slices white American cheese, diced

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In the bowl of a stand mixer, add the yeast, sugar, and water. Using the paddle attachment, stir to combine. Let sit for 5 minutes, until bubbles start to form.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil, the salt, and the flour. Mix until combined. Switch to the dough hook and knead until dough is no longer sticky and a rough ball forms, about 8 minutes.
  • Remove dough from stand mixer and place in a large bowl that has been prepared with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Turn it, covering the dough in oil. Cover with lid and allow to rise for 2 hours.
  • In the meantime, cook your chicken breasts. In a medium cast iron skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon olive oil. Once hot, add chicken. Cook for 4 minutes on each side to sear.
  • Place iron skillet in the preheated oven and cook chicken thoroughly, about 10 minutes. Remove from oven and dice. Set aside.
  • Returning to your dough, remove dough from the bowl after 2 hours. Cut into 2 pieces and form into a ball shape. Place on separate plates and cover with dish towels for 15 minutes. Preheat oven to 475 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • After 15 minutes, roll out each ball into a 12-inch circle. Place each on a pizza baking sheet.
  • Cover each pizza with 1/2 cup of shredded provolone cheese, 1/2 the diced chicken breast, 1 tablespoon of taco seasoning, 1/2 the tomato, 1/2 the green bell pepper, 1/4 the onion, and 2 tablespoons of diced white American cheese.
  • Bake in the oven for 12 minutes.
  • Cut the pizzas into slices and serve hot!

Dominos Crust Recipe I love Italian cuisine and the most favourite dish is pizza. Mostly I bake pizza at home as home-made pizza is best to have, if you are consuming it frequently, so that you can have better control over the fatty and saturated ingredients like cheese and oil.

Number Of Ingredients 8

2 ½ Cups / 300 gms All Purpose Flour (Maida)
7 grams/1 packet / 2 ¼ teaspoon Instant Yeast
3 teaspoon brown Sugar or 2 teaspoon honey
1 cup / 170 ml Warm Water
5 tsp / 15 gms Non fat Milk Powder
2 tablespoons / 30 ml extra virgin olive Oil
1 tsp Salt
¼ cup cornmeal or semolina flour for tossing

Steps:

  • In a large mixing bowl take flour, milk powder, brown sugar, olive oil and salt. Mix it thoroughly with a slotted spatula.
  • Warm the water and divide into two equal parts. Add one part of warm water to flour. Mix with spatula and let it rest.
  • Take other half part of warm water add instant yeast and mix. Let it rest for 10 minutes or till the mixture gets froth. (if it does not, then throw and restart.) After 10 minutes add yeast mixture to the flour mixture.
  • Knead the dough. I have tried preparing dough with hands as well as machine. I found that machine makes dough smoother and softer than manual kneading. However, many of us doesn't own a stand mixer so I have chosen not to use my stand mixer in this recipe.
  • Knead the dough for at least 15 minutes to form gluten in dough. In the end when dough is almost done, drizzle some olive oil on palm and give additional 5 minute knead to smooth it out. Smear some oil all over the surface of dough and cover with cling film.
  • Rest dough for 90 minutes or more at warm place. I heated my oven for 30 seconds on highest temperature and turned it off, then I placed dough at top shelf in my oven.
  • After step5 , punch down the dough and knead it again for about 2- 3 minutes. Then divide it into 3 equal parts (or 2 equal parts) depending upon the size of pizza you want to prepare.
  • Cover with cling film and leave it for another 30 minutes for rise. No need to put dough at warm place this time.
  • After 3o minutes you can see that dough has risen as shown in below picture.
  • Take it out and knead again. Use some dry all purpose flour if you need, in case it is too sticky to handle. Spread some cornmeal on worktop and place one piece of dough and shape it for preparing pizza.
