1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. pepper
12 slices whole wheat bread
1 pkg. (9 oz.) OSCAR MAYER Deli Fresh Oven Roasted Turkey Breast
6 KRAFT 2% Milk Singles
6 leaf lettuce leaves
1 tomato, cut into 6 slices

Steps:

  • Mix mayo and seasonings until blended; spread onto bread slices.
  • Fill with remaining ingredients to make 6 sandwiches.

Number Of Ingredients 7

12 THIN slices of large ripe tomatoes
3/4 c. balsalmic vinegar
1 24" submarine sandwich roll
2 small leaves Romaine Lettuce
6 slices provolone cheese
12 slices smoked Turkey (18 if you like thicker sandwiches)
salt & pepper to taste.

Steps:

  • Slice the tomatoes at least an hour before assembling the sandwich and marinate them in the balsalmic vinegar, for one to 12 hours before hand. To assemble the sandwich, slice the roll lengthwise and pull some of the bread out of the top half, leaving an indented depression. On the other half, layer the lettuse, cheese and Turkey. Salt and pepper to taste. If the sandwich is to be eaten immediately, go ahead and put the tomatoes on top and reassemble the loaf. Slice into 4 6" sandwiches and serve. If you are preparing these for a picnic, transport the tomatoes in a closed container in your cooler and add them at the last minute to prevent the bread from getting soggy.

¾ cup chopped red onion
1 tablespoon dried thyme
½ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup coarse-grain brown mustard
8 slices country style French Bread
6 tablespoons butter, softened
1 pound thinly sliced roast turkey
8 slices tomato
8 slices Swiss cheese

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, stir together the red onion, thyme, mayonnaise and mustard. Spread some of this mixture onto one side of each slice of bread. Spread butter onto the other side of the slices of bread.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Place 4 slices of the bread into the skillet with the butter side down. On each slice of bread, layer 1/4 of the sliced turkey, then 2 slices of tomato, and top with 2 slices of Swiss cheese. Place remaining slices of bread over the top with the butter side up. When the bottoms of the sandwiches are golden brown, flip over, and cook until golden on the other side.

This simple sandwich is Martha's favorite way to enjoy leftover Thanksgiving turkey.

2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons ketchup
3 cornichons, finely chopped
4 slices hearty wheat bread, thinly sliced and lightly toasted
Unsalted butter
Dijon mustard
6 slices fresh turkey breast
Coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper
6 slices tomato
6 slices cooked crisp bacon
4 leaves radicchio
1/2 bunch watercress, large stems removed
Cranberry sauce, for serving (optional)

Steps:

  • In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, and cornichons until well combined; set aside.
  • Spread one side of each slice of bread with butter. Top buttered side of two slices of bread with mustard. Top each with 3 slices turkey and season with salt and pepper. Spread a quarter of the mayonnaise mixture over turkey and top each with 3 slices of tomato, 3 pieces of bacon, and 2 radicchio leaves. Evenly divide watercress between each.
  • Evenly divide remaining mayonnaise mixture between buttered side of remaining two slices of bread; place on top of watercress to form sandwich. Serve with cranberry sauce, if desired.
