Spring Spritzer Recipes

SPRING SPRITZER

Steps:

• Place 2 to 3 grapes in each section of 2 ice cube trays. Fill trays with water; freeze.
• In 4-quart non-metal container or punch bowl, mix juice, juice concentrate and 1 cup water. Just before serving, add club soda; stir gently to blend. Add fruit-filled ice cubes.

THE SPRING SPRITZ

Steps:

• Fill a wine glass with ice. Add Aperol, sparkling wine, and grapefruit juice. Top off with soda water and garnish with grapefruit wheel.

WHITE WINE SPRITZER

Steps:

• Fill a wine glass halfway with the super-chilled wine ... the glass should frost ... that's when you know your wine's cool enough.
• Splash in the club soda until the glass is three-quarters full. (Note: You can also use ginger ale or lemon lime soda!)
• Then take a slice of lime and put it on the rim of the glass.

SPRING SPRITZER

Steps:

• Ahead of time, fill an ice cube tray with water. Pop 1 to 3 blueberries into half of the slots. Freeze.
• Fill a wine glass with a mixture of plain ice and blueberry ice. Add lime juice and triple sec.
• Pour in the wine, filling the glass most of the way but not quite. Top with club soda. Stir gently. Garnish with lemon slices and serve immediately.

FRESH FRUIT SPRITZERS

Steps:

• In a large pitcher combine all of the ingredients and mix with a wooden spoon. Fill tall glasses with ice and fill with Spritzers.

SARAH'S CITRUS SPRITZER

Steps:

• Bring sugar, water, lemon zest, orange zest, and basil to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Remove from heat and allow simple syrup to cool, 15 to 30 minutes.
• Pour lemon juice and orange juice into a high-speed blender (such as a Vitamix®). Add strawberries and simple syrup. Blend on low speed (1), then slowly increase speed to high (10) and blend until pureed, about 45 seconds.
• For each drink, fill an old fashioned glass with ice. Pour 1/4 cup strawberry puree over top and fill with seltzer water.
