BEER SHANDY
This is a light and refreshing alcoholic drink perfect for a hot summer's afternoon. It is certain to be a hit with the ladies! I use Red Stripe since its taste is closest that of Castle Lager, but any lager would be good.

- Pour well chilled beer into tumbler.
- Gently pour in well chilled Sprite.
- NOTE: since the ingredients portions are equal, you could make this as small or as large as you like!

BEER GINGER SHANDY
Steps:
- Filled 2 pint glasses with ice. Combine equal parts ginger beer and wheat beer in each glass. Garnish each with a lime wedge.
LEMON SHANDY
Steps:
- In a small saucepan bring sugar and 1 cup water to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved, and stir in zest. Cool sugar syrup to room temperature.
- Transfer syrup to a small pitcher and stir in remaining 2 cups water, lemon juice, and mint. Chill lemonade until cold. (Makes about 4 1/2 cups lemonade.)
- Pour 1/4 cup lemonade, or to taste, into each of 4 chilled beer glasses and top off with beer.
CLASSIC SHANDY
