I'd been wanting to try biltong since I read about it in "A Far Off Place", but I'm not much of a meateater so I thought I'd try this recipe from Woolworth's.

Number Of Ingredients 7

1 cucumber
1 avocado
1 large yellow pepper
2 roma tomatoes
16 ounces spinach leaves
7 1/2 ounces biltong
watercress, for garnish

Steps:

  • Slice all ingredients except for the spinach leaves.
  • Toss together and garnish with watercress.
  • Tastes wonderful with a Sweet Onion dressing.
