  1. assorted fresh vegetable
  2. soft fresh goat cheese
  3. sour cream
  4. pesto sauce
  5. fresh lemon juice
  6. lemon peel
  7. pine nuts

Steps:

  1. arrange vegetables on platter
  2. cover and chill
  3. blend cheese , sour cream , 1 / 4 cup pesto , lemon juice , and lemon peel in processor until smooth
  4. season with salt and pepper
  5. transfer to serving bowl
  6. do ahead: can be made 1 day ahead
  7. cover and refrigerate
  8. top dip with dollops of remaining 2 tablespoons pesto
  9. sprinkle dip with toasted pine nuts
  10. serve dip alongside platter of assorted vegetables
