BETTY'S APPLE AMBROSIA
Steps:
- Pour the orange juice into a medium bowl. Peel and core the apples, and then grate them into the orange juice using the large-hole side of the grater. Add the pineapple, coconut and sugar. Mix well, adding more orange juice if the mixture is not juicy enough. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve. The apples will continue to absorb juice, and orange juice can be added as needed to keep it as juicy as you like. OLD SOUTH AMBROSIA
Steps:
- Grate coconut in bowl. Add peeled and sectioned oranges; discard membrane and seeds. Add pineapple, fruit cocktail, apples, bananas, and nuts. Sweeten with sugar, being careful not to add too much as the syrup from the fruit is usually sufficient. Chill before serving. This dessert is pretty garnished with cherries and served in a crystal bowl.

Steps:
- Peel the oranges, taking care to remove all the white pith. Slice the oranges over a bowl or storage container so that you catch any juice, and add the slices to the bowl. Circular slices look prettiest, hold together best, and are easiest.
- Add the pineapple and coconut to the orange slices and gently toss. The ambrosia can be refrigerated up to two days, covered.
- When ready to serve, slice the banana and toss it with other fruits. Add the cherries last.
- Serve the ambrosia in your prettiest glass bowl. It will become a tradition.

MOMMA LEGS AMBROSIA
This is a great summer or special occasion fruit salad. I don't like the marshmallows or cream in fruit salad so this one rocks for me and reminds me of my momma. Sprinkle a little sugar on top if desired.
